Noah’s Ark Mural
St. Stephen’s Anglican Church Hurst
Winter 2020-2021
This mural was done for a local church near my hometown during the winter of 2021. I was commissioned to design and paint a mural inspired by Noah’s Ark, as the church was looking to redo their children’s classrooms while childcare services slowed during COVID-19. I was given full control over the design and execution of the mural, so I drew on my experience with scenic design and painting that I had learned during my undergraduate years. I used the existing wall color as the background, and used many reference images for both the ark and the animals.
